The AccessHub system is a new innovation to be used specifically in stairwells to save energy. It uses Infrared-Red technology coupled with a motion detector to switch on stairwell lighting only when required. A 2 digit LED display screen is used to display respective floor numbers. Emergency backup lighting as well as photocell sensor also built into the system to ensure that stairways will always be lit whenever human passage is necessary. A built-in emergency alarm will direct users to stairwell exits in the event of an emergency.
